We decided to have a seat on the highway and live to tell about it! It is all about perspective.
At all different angles of the road it is still a road and it is amazing that there are many ways of looking at one thing....I would say this is the position of the rat or mouse....in which they can see the fine detail of their life in close proximity only....as if you had bad eyesight or are nearsighted and didn’t have your glasses or contacts on that day and you can only move forward by taking one step at a time.

The picture sums it up....Cosmic indeed! This was a sculpture at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur. I like what Henry Miller said in his “Notice to Visitors” (which is now hanging on my wall)....

“......let us do our best, even if it gets us nowhere. In the midst of darkness there is light. ‘I am the light of the world,’ said Jesus. He said a mouthful. Light, more light!”

One can see for miles and miles. I like to call this a very focused road with one thing in mind about the straight and narrow. Endless land, sky, and stars so bright against the black night back drop.
