Do you feel a kinship with a certain animal? Do you want to learn to integrate and use your power animal medicine in your daily life? Explore the healing powers of animals in the full day workshop Sacred Animals/Sacred Dance. Finding and working with your power animal teaches how we can honor and adapt their medicine to our own life strategies and healing. We will journey into the inner world of spirit to find your power animal. This journey will continue with finding your own unique movements to honor and “Dance” your animal energy into yourself and carry its power within.

DAVID CARSON is a novelist who has written for newspapers, films, and social reform publications. He is the co-author of Medicine cards: The Discovery of Power Through the Ways of Animals, and author of the recently released Crossing Into Medicine Country. His newest work is Oracle 2013: Ancient Keys to the 2012 Awakening. Raised in Oklahoma Indian country, David learned from many tribal elders and medicine carriers. He is of Choctaw descent and has lived on various reservations in Montana and Canada. David has been involved in sacred ceremony throughout the US and many other countries. He has traveled world wide at the invitation of shamans from Siberia to Hawaii. David has taught seminars around the world on animal teachings and the sacred medicine wheel. David has given animal consultations and Medicine Card readings to thousands of people world wide, guiding them to their personal truth.

GRETA CARSON was born at Crow Agency, Montana. She received her Bachelor of University Studies, with emphasis in Psychology and Health Education and Master’s of Education in Counseling from the University of New Mexico. An aspiring writer and poet, one of her poems was featured on the Grammy winning Native American Album in 2006. Greta has traveled throughout the US and Europe co-teaching workshops with her father. She also gives private consultations and Medicine Card readings. Greta strives to make her life a living prayer for the healing of humanity and our beloved planet.

CARRIE ELLMORE-TALLITSCH currently is a soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company. She received her BFA in dance at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Carrie teaches dance/movement workshops around the US to the professional and non-professional. Her choreographic career spans from 1991-2007. April 13th 2008 she and the Carson’s will present an excerpt from “Cosmic Dance” at the 92nd Street Y “Sundays at Three. “
